Rachel C. says: I'm here! Like it a lot. On base housing is nice. A lot of houses and being torn down and rebuilt. The school is good. The base is small and Very close to a lot of things. Martinez Grovetown Evans areas all nice.

Crystal K. says: I was there for two years. Just PCS from there last April.. Me and my family really enjoyed it there. The housing are nice. It was close to everything so there lots of things you can do! The best thing about it you are just a couple of hours away from the beach a nice weekend get away for the summer!! Another good thing for me not sure about anyone else my hubby didn't have to stay away from home a lot.. All in all really not a bad place to live at for awhile. Hope you and your family enjoys it as much ad me and my family did!

Rachel C. says: I'd say Grovetown or Martinez would be the closest nice places. Tobacco Road has some nice subdivisions but not quite as nice as the other two. I wouldn't recommend Deans Bridge Road or anything downtown.

Stephanie L. says: We live off post in Harlem. It is just past Grovetown and is a super small town. We moved here because the rent was cheaper than the other areas. Grovetown Martinez and Evans are all nice areas too. It will just depend on the rent and how much driving you want to do to get to post.

Stephanie L. says: Have you tried AHRN.com? Most Realtors use it plus housing will recommend it to you because it is for military use only. We got our house off of there. It belongs to a retired 1SG so he is super awesome as a landlord.

Amanda C. says: We live in Martinez right on the borders of Grovetown and Evans and love it. He's only 10 minutes from Gate 1. We bought a house but there is quite a bit for rent here. You should have no problems finding something.
